What matters here

How we approach 3 bhk interior design

  • Three bedrooms means three different storage briefs, not one repeated wardrobe.
  • Shared areas carry the design identity; bedrooms are planned around their users.
  • A common palette with per-room accents keeps the home coherent but not uniform.
  • Utility, loft and passage storage are planned before rooms fill up.

Three bedrooms, three different problems

The master needs hanging length and drawer volume; a child's room needs shelving that changes as they grow; a guest or parents' room needs accessible storage and a clear floor. Repeating one wardrobe design across all three is fast to draw and consistently disappointing to live with. We plan internals room by room against what each occupant owns.

The shared rooms carry the house

Living, dining and kitchen are seen by everyone and used most. In a 3 BHK we tend to place the stronger material decisions there — the veneer wall, the stone counter, the detailed lighting — and keep bedrooms calmer and more practical. It concentrates the budget where it is visible and keeps the private rooms restful.

Plan the unglamorous storage early

Utility area, lofts, the passage cupboard and the space above bedroom doors are decided last in most projects, which is why they end up as an afterthought. We survey them at measurement stage and allocate them specific jobs — luggage, seasonal bedding, cleaning equipment — so the wardrobes are not carrying items they were never sized for.
