What a Modular Kitchen Really Costs in Puducherry

We don't publish a per-square-foot rate, because that number is meaningless until the layout, core, finish, countertop and hardware are decided. Here is what genuinely moves the figure.

Why no price list

A rate card hides the decisions

Two kitchens of identical size in the same apartment block can differ substantially in price. The difference is rarely the cabinetry itself — it is the hardware count, the shutter finish and the countertop slab.

A published per-square-foot figure has to assume all three, which means it is either optimistic enough to be misleading or padded enough to be useless. We would rather measure your room, agree the specification with you, and give you a figure that will not move.

Use the eight drivers below to understand where your budget will actually go, then use the planner to capture your requirements before a consultation.

  • 01

    Size & running length

Cost is calculated on the metres of cabinetry you actually need, not on the room's floor area.

  • 02

    Layout

Corners, islands and tall runs each add hardware and material that a straight run does not.

  • 03

    Cabinet core

Plywood, HDF-HMR and WPC differ in price and in how they handle moisture.

  • 04

    Shutter finish

Laminate, acrylic, matt PU and veneer sit at clearly different levels.

  • 05

    Countertop

Granite, quartz and sintered stone vary by slab, thickness and edge detail.

  • 06

    Hardware & accessories

Soft-close channels, tandem boxes, corner units and pull-outs are the most common cost variable.

  • 07

    Appliances

Hob, chimney, oven and dishwasher can be supplied by us or by you.

  • 08

    Installation

Site condition, floor level and any civil work needed before fitting affect the final figure.
